without clearly quote its references, the duo composes and improvises on colors inspired from 20th century composers as béla bartók, maurice ravel, alban berg…

the sometimes singing, sometimes talking voice melts with the vibring and sensual sound of the valve trombone; polyrythms and modal cycles stretch in waves, the bowed double bass can then meet sonic depths or let out crystalline harmonics.

this album won the sacem price at the “crest jazz vocal” festival.
